Stresses for fast achievement of all the targets by the end of ensuing quarter as envisaged in ACP 2022-23

DDC approves Annual Credit Plan 2023-24 for Kishtwar District




Kishtwar,17 March 2023:

The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar , Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS) today convened a District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on CD ratio of the district, identification of beneficiaries, flow of credit, assistance under Government sponsored schemes, performances of banks under District Credit Plan (DCP), achievements made under the above said Quarter, monitoring initiatives and Credit Plus activities.




DDC emphasized on the priority sector lending with special focus on education, women development and agriculture allied sectors. He also emphasized that the banks needs to gear up and put in more efforts to increase the achievement which stood at 58% as on 31.12.2022 to 100% by end of 31.03.2023 especially in priority sector.

During the meeting DC Kishtwar approved Annual Credit Plan for 2023-24 prepared by LDM envisaging a target of ₹323.88 crore for FY 2023-24 under priority sector for the district with overall target of ₹384.76 crore.




After DLRC, DDC Kishtwar reviewed the performance of SBI RSETI for the said quarter. He also advised them to give training to youth of Kishtwar in fields like hospitality and tourist guides which will cater to the needs of the district.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Kishtwar, Sham Lal; Lead District Manager, Pankaj Bhadani; DSWO Kishtwar Zubair Ahmed, CAO Kishtwar Amjad Hussain Malik; DBM NABARD Nikhil Sharma, representatives of RSETI Kishtwar various banks, District Coordinators, other heads of various Government Departments and sponsoring agencies.
