ACR Kishtwar chaired meeting for holding of elections to the management committee of the Cooperative Societies

A meeting regarding the conduct of elections to the Managing Committees of Cooperative Societies in District Kishtwar was held today in the office of the Assistant Commissioner (Rev), Kishtwar, Mohd Idrees Lone (JKAS) who is also the Election Authority for Cooperative Elections 2025.

The meeting was attended by the Dy.Registrar Cooperative Societies Kishtwar Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal,all Returning Officers (BDOs of Kishtwar, Paddar, Inderwal, Marwah, and Dachhan), Assistant Registrars Cooperative Societies of all blocks, Election Naib Tehsildar and other officals.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the smooth conduct of the upcoming cooperative society elections. Necessary directions and instructions were issued to the concerned officers to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections. Further, during the meeting Officers were also briefed about their roles and responsibilities as part of the election process.

The ACR Kishtwar emphasized strict adherence to election guidelines and timelines.
