_took stock of the facilities, quality of services,well-being of Yatries, volunteers and carried out on-site inspection of langars and other facilitation centres_

Kishtwar, 8th August:



Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal who is also Nodal Officer Machail Mata Yatra-2022 on Sunday visited Shree Machail Mata Ji Shrine and personally took stock of the facilities, quality of services,well-being of Yatries, volunteers besides carried out on-site inspection of langars and other facilitation centres established at shrine.



Meanwhile,the Nodal Officer personally took stock of the Donation Boxes and the account related activities and stressed upon the Account personnel deployed there to place in miticulous account mechanism and maintaining proper record in the shrine for ensuring transparency and accountability.

The Nodal officer also carried out on-site inspection of Sanitation in and around the shrine and Langer sites besides also reviewed the functioning of CCTV cameras installed there.



He directed officials for regular inspection of lodging, food, health facilities, sanitation and taking care of cleanliness drives at shrine and along the Yatra route.



He was briefed by the Duty Magistrates about the various arrangements including power and water supply, sanitation, toilet units, street lighting, healthcare facilities, fire tenders,Traffic situation etc at the base camp,along the route and Holy shrine.



Nodal officer observed that local administration in collaboration with District administration has made adequate arrangements to ensure a safe and smooth Yatra.



ADDC was further informed that adequate men and machinery are in place at vulnerable spots to tackle any exigency.

At the Base camp Gulab Garh ADDC/Nodal officer took the day wise status of the Yatries arriving at the Base Camp and Yatries who have returned from the shrine after paying obeisance.



While interacting with the yatries, stakeholders, and members of Langer management committees, Nodal Officer/ADDC also enquired about their experience of the ongoing pilgrimage.

He also extended his best wishes for the safe spiritual pilgrimage of Yatries.



During his visit ADDC was accompanied by Tehsildar Atholi, Rohit Kumar;BDO Paddar, Ravi Kumar besides other concerned officers/officials.
