DC Kishtwar conducted surprise inspection of District Hospital Kishtwar
_Inspected Various sections, took stock of Health and Patient care facilities,stressed for sanitation and hygiene protocol besides asked for proper maintenance of patient’s register_
_Directed concerned executing authorities to complete the pending work of Eye Block, Building within one month_

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav-IAS today conducted surprise inspection of District Hospital Kishtwar and took stock of the patient care facilities and services being provided to the people.
During the visit,DC Kishtwar inspected various sections including OPD,PM-Jan Aushadi Kendra, Gynae, ENT,Dental section besides also visited general, surgical and Ortho wards and interacted with patients and doctors to enquire about the current patient care facilities and health scenario.
He also checked reciept register and directed for maintaing proper indoor and outdoor patient record and serial numbering on each Reciept for transparent patient care system.
The officials at PM-Jan Aushadhi Kendra were directed to ensure adequate supply and stock of generic medicines so that poor and needy patients faces no inconvenience due to short of generic medicines.
During interaction with Doctors and staff members he stressed them to to perform their duties with utmost dedication and honesty.
He also stressed for timely and best patient care and best medical practices to be adopted for patients who visit the District Hospital.
Medical Superintendent DH Kishtwar Dr Javida Qazi apprised DC Kishtwar about various issues and infrastructure gaps.
DC Kishtwar directed her to explore the possibilities for filling the gaps through procurement of adequate infrastructure for the comfort of patients and public.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar while taking stock of the sanitation and hygiene status of various wards directed the concerned to maintain sanitation protocol in premises of hospital for the safety of patients and the attendents.
Later, DC also visited Integrated Counseling & Testing Center (ICTC) which is a place to provide a window for rendering information about HIV prevention and looked into its functioning.
MS District Hospital Kishtwar was also directed to implement the universal usage of face Mask in the premises of district Hospital for the safety of patients and visitors visiting the hospital.
During the visit, he inspected the progress of under-constructed Eye Block and directed Concerned executing (PwD) authorities to complete the Eye Block Building within one month of time.
