DC Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav Inspects District Hospital and Municipal Council Wastes

The Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, conducted a visit to the district hospital today, inspecting various sections and wards to assess their functioning.

During the inspection, he emphasized the proper disposal of biomedical waste and strongly discouraged its open disposal.

Deputy Commissioner directed the Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Kishtwar Dr. Yudhvir Singh Kotwal to coordinate with Executive Officer Municipal Council Kishtwar Ninad Sen to ensure the appropriate disposal of biomedical waste, discouraging any open dumping practices. Recognizing the potential hazards associated with improper waste management, he stressed the importance of adhering to proper protocols to maintain a clean and healthy environment within the hospital premises.

Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner diligently verified the attendance records and staff rosters to ensure compliance with the prescribed guidelines. This step reinforces the significance of punctuality and accountability among the hospital staff.

Additionally,DC Kishtwar extended his visit to various wards of the Municipal Council Kishtwar. He directed the Executive Officer of the Municipal Council to take immediate measures to ensure proper disposal of waste within the wards and the surrounding areas of the hospital, including the front of shops. Any violations in waste management practices will be subject to fines and penalties, as determined by the concerned authorities.
