DC Kishtwar inspects various ongoing Developmental projects at Kishtwar

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav (IAS) along with concerned revenue and PWD authorities today conducted personal inspection of various ongoing and proposed developmental projects at Kishtwar and took stock of various impediments and resolved them by passing onspot directions to concerned authorities.




During the inspection he was accompanied by Tehsildar Kishtwar Umar Muneeb, EXEN RnB Ravinder Kumar,Concerned Gurdwara Kishtwar Nissar Batt,AE Mechanical Division Umar Mushtaq besides Patwari Kishtwar, Patwari Matta.

He listened to issues of people including the land loser of the circular road of Town Kishtwar viz Diwaroo to Duga road near Malipeth and assured acquiring papers will be framed as per norms.




DC Kishtwar took personal inspection along the alignment of the road and issued necessary directions to concerned Officers.

Tehsildar Kishtwar and Executive Engineer PWD were directed to strictly adhere to alignment and ensure that the road is completed in stipulated time.

He said that strict action shall be taken against those creating hurdles in the developmental projects under relevant provisions of Law.




He said that this road is of immense importance for the town of Kishtwar to tackle the issues of traffic congestion effectively.

Meanwhile, DC visited the site for construction of Slaughter Houses for Kishtwar and looked into the land feasibility for the same.

He directed Tehsildar Kishtwar to explore the possibility for sufficient state land for the slaughter houses so that they are completed on priority in the time bound manner.

Besides, he directed the executing agencies for timely submission of DPR for said projects so that the project is taken up immediately.

He also visited the Langar shed site at Shalimar and took stock of state Land near Langer shed and directed the concerned officers for leveling and developing it into a transit truck parking space.




Later, he along with the concerned officers travelled by foot to inspect the National Highway alignment from Munshi Gwari to Bimar Nag and stressed concerned authorities for the proper and judicious utilization of state lands.

On the spot, he directed the concern to identify and demarcate state land along the NH for utilisation under various developmental projects in the near future.
