DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma kicks off inter school tournament
DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma who was the chief guest on the occasion inaugurated the Inter school tournament at Chowgan ground Kishtwar, which will witness the participation of a huge gathering of students drawn from zone Kishtwar whereas, at zone Inderwal, Nagseni, Marwah, and Padder said tournaments were organized at their respective zones, under supervision of I/c ZPEO Sanjay Sharma, Suresh Parihar, Om Parkash, and Ram Loki respectively.
The inaugural function at Chowgan Kishtwar started with the Prettyish welcome to Chief guest Kharati Lal Sharma by the sports officials, players, and spectators.
The chief guest along with charge ZPEO Kishtwar Ravi Kumar interacted with the students. All zones of District Kishtwar started the inter school competition in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Carrom, Chess, Table tennis, Speed ball, Rope skipping, football, Badminton, Yoga, Wrestling, Cricket as per the activity calendar and will continue up to 25th May 2022 said DYSSO kishtwar in his speech. He directed all officials of the department for a fair selection of players and for the grand success of each tournament.
The chief guest advised the students to get benefit from the Chowghan play ground which is the gift of nature for the public of Kishtwar as this playground with an area of 520 Kanals is one of the largest playgrounds in J&K UT with one side a big Temple of Gori Shankar Mandir and in another side, the Shrine of Asrar -Ud-Din Bagdadi (RA) covered with beautiful Chinar Deodar trees and mountains around all.
Adding more DYSSO said that students and the general public should take part in different games and can get help from the experts of the sports department Kishtwar by which players of our District can excel in sports and could compete with their peers across the globe.
Moreover, at Drabshalla zone inter-school tournament was inaugurated by ZEO Drabshalla Suresh Kumar in presence of Kelash kumar I/c ZPEO Drabshalla.
Players from the different schools participated with full zeal & zest.
