Deputy Director Youth Services & Sports  Jammu Jatinder  Mishra who was  the chief guest of the occasion today kick started the Inter Zonal District Level Athletic meet of age group U/14,U/17, U/19 boys & girls at Chowgan Kishtwar.

The Competition was organised by DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma.

A warm welcome was given to the chief guest by the students and sports employees.

DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma presented the bouquet & momento to the chief guest and later in his inaugural speech apprised the chief guest about the progress of the Sports Department kishtwar by involving 28,000 students  in different events organized by the Department in few previous months and today  in this athletic meet a huge participation  of students from all zones took part by following all SOPs of Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking on the occasion,the Chief guest praised the sports fraternity of kishtwar for their hard work and gave further instructions for involving more and more students for upcoming events.

Chief guest declared the event open by clicking the Clapper for 100 mts. sprint and same time other athletic  events were also performed under the supervision of Susheel Kumar Sharma ,a renowned Physical teacher of the department.

Before vote of thanks, presented  by DYSSO Kishtwar , chief guest distributed  the medals among the winners.

Mr Javed Iqbal Sheik, commentator, Zorawer Singh  the anchor of the event and all fraternity of the sports department kishtwar beautifully completed all the events. Department also provide refreshment to all participants on spot.

Later, Dy. Director also took the review of Construction work of different play fields at different areas which are under construction under the state capex  budget.
