DC Kishtwar Visits Paddar, briefs PRIs,Prominent persons about arrangements put in place for ensuing Annual Shri Machail Mata Yatra
Also took stock of security and medical emergency arrangements there.
KISHTWAR, JUL 17:
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today held an interactive meeting with local PRIs and Prominent persons here at Paddar and briefed them about the arrangements put in place for the smooth and hassle free conduct of Annual Shree Machail Mata Yatra 2022.
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Sham Lal; ACD Atul Dutt Sharma; SDM Paddar Dr Rishi Sharma,Tehsildar Paddar Rohit Kumar,BDO Paddar Ravi Kumar ,Xen PHE Ajay Talwar ;BMO Paddar Dr Anil Sharma besides concerned district and sectoral officers remained present in the meeting.
During the interactive meeting, the DC briefed in detail the arrangements put in place by the district Administration to facilitate Yatra besides sought valuable suggestions of PRIs and Prominant persons for the smooth conduct of the annual yatra and all the suggestions were noted down.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that Health and Emergency besides security centres are being established at designated points along with langars enroute the Shrine so that Yatries are provided with all requisite facilities at one stop.
He further informed that comprehensive fool proof plans have been formulated for security arrangements, establishment of additional toilets, temporary shelter Sheds en-route the shrine, uninterrupted Drinking water and power Supply,issuance of langar permissions, provision of sanitation, Traffic and parking management, notification of Bus fare, installation of complaint Boxes, Helicopter facility to make the Yatra of pilgrims safe and smooth.
Hoardings and signages are being installed at designated places with information about the Medicare facility, ATM, Langer and other facilities for the Yatris besides explaining the Dos and Don’ts for Yatris, he briefed during the meeting.
Discussion about registration process of Yatris,various developments works that are in pipeline for the smooth conduct of Yatra were also held during the meeting.
Regarding the construction of Bailey Bridge at Kundhail, DC informed that the restoration work is going on the war footing level and bridge will be completed well before the start of Yatra.
He also stressed all the Prominant persons ,departmental heads and PRIs to work in tandem during the Yatra time to make this Yatra a grand success.
Later, DC Kishtwar inspected PHC Atholi and took stock from BMO Paddar about the essential medicine and other Medicare arrangements like Ambulance facility in the sub Division especially for ensuing Yatra besides also inspected the ongoing construction work of Newly constructed PHC Atholi.
Meanwhile, he directed all local administration officers to brace up and fine tune their arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of Yatra.
Earlier,on yesterday ADDC Kishtwar/Nodal Officer for Yatra Sham Lal who was on his two days visit to Paddar personally took appraisal of all the arrangements and developmental works put placed in for smooth and hassle free conduct of Yatra.
He directed the concerned officer to ensure the arrangements being placed in well before the commencement of Yatra.
