DC Kishtwar holds interactive meeting with Students of GDC Kishtwar

_Collected feedback on Back to Village Phase 4th Programme from Visiting Teams of GDC Kishtwar_

Kishtwar,21-11-2022.

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav (IAS) today chaired an interactive meeting with Visiting Students of GDC Kishtwar and listened to their experiences and feedback of on Back to Village Phase 4th Programme here at his Office chamber.



ADDC kishtwar Sham Lal,ACD Atul Dutt Sharma,DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal, ALC Kishtwar Amit Kumar besides Coordinator Prof Faisal Mushtaq and Visiting students of GDC Kishtwar remained present in the meeting.



Around 20 teams of students of different semesters Coordinated by Prof Faisal Mushtaq gave a detailed feedback here in the meeting which were meticulously recorded by concerned officers in presence of DC Kishtwar.



It is pertinent to mention here that a noval and innovative initiative was taken by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar in the district wherein around 20 teams from GDC Kishtwar were constituted by District Administration in ending october to undergo internship in Back to village phase fourth programme and so that these visiting Students get the first hand experience and assess to the overall situation of panchayats and their functioning at grass root level.



Accordingly,each team was allotted one panchayat to work upon and submit the detailed report and observations regarding the implementation of various welfare schemes besides find out infrastructure and developmental gaps on ground level.



Besides these teams were mandated to dessiminate the awareness about the self employment schemes under Mission Youth,Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan beside conduct plantation and cleanliness drives at various schools and Anganwadi Centres.



All these teams work tirelessly and today shared their detailed feedback including various suggestions ,most of which related to upgradation of infrastructure in some govt. schools were taken by administration on priority.



During the feedback ,it came into notice that there are still some schools having scanty buildings, classrooms, infrastructure besides some health sub centres lacks basic facilities.

It was deliberated in the meeting that all these suggestions will be taken into consideration and all the teams were asked to submit the detailed report within couple of days about these 20 panchayats in given format for further consideration and action to be taken.



Govt. Degree College Kishtwar has got the distinction in the entire UT of J&K by involving the students extensively for this years Back to Village phase fourth Programme,2022.
