Arrangements for 2nd edition of ‘My Town My Pride’ Programme discussed at Kishtwar

_”Cleanest Ward Competition” under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan shall be conducted by District Administration in collab with MC Kishtwar._

To discuss the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the second edition of “My Town My Pride” program with effect from 15th November 2022 in the district, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav (IAS) convened marathon of meetings with Officers of Line Department and councillors of Municipal Council Kishtwar.

During the meeting with Officers of line department,the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the preparatory measures being made by different line departments.

He asked the officers of all the departments to participate and make the two day drive a people friendly and impressionable event.

He informed that Melas will be organised at designated locations of town where each department will put up a stall to spread awareness among people regarding various welfare schemes.

The DC said that all the line departments will depute senior officers for the two day Urban outreach programme.

He said that Visiting Officers, along with other officers would inspect the ongoing works taken up by different departments.

During the meeting with the Councillors of MC Kishtwar DC asked them to co-operate and co-ordinate with line Departements to make this program successful.

Besides it was informed in the meeting that “Cleanest Ward Competition” under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan shall be conducted by District Administration in collaboration with Municipal Council Kishtwar.

DC Kishtwar urged all the Councillors to sensitize and involve people of their respective wards in these activities under MTMP and reap much benefit from the outreach programme.
