The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar, Sh.Sham Lal JKAS today flagged off the Special Summary Revision Express 2023 in the presence of the ADC Kishtwar Inderjeet Singh Parihar, ACR Kishtwar Varunjeet Singh Charak,Deputy Chief Election Office J&K Akhter Hussain Qazi,Deputy District Election Officer Kishtwar Naresh Kumar along with the staff members and officials of the District Election Office Kishtwar from the DC Office Complex Kishtwar.
During the occasion, the ADDC articulated that the express will traverse through diverse locales, thereby facilitating the dissemination of awareness concerning the recently launched Special Summary Revision within the district. It is of utmost significance for nascent electors, thus necessitating its widespread propagation.

Those who are already registered can make corrections, shift their location or delete their name from the electoral register if necessary. The last date to register is 20th April 2023, he informed.New voters can contact their Booth Level Officers (BLOs) or Tehsildar concerned for registration.
The Deputy District Election Officer, in addition, conveyed that special camps concerning the Summary Revision of the electoral register are scheduled to be held on the 9th and 15th of April at all polling stations. The nascent electorate are strongly urged to attend and register themselves.
