In a proactive effort to ensure a clean and hygienic environment, SDM Paddar Arun Kumar Badyal along with Tehsildar Paddar, Satish Kumar Rana, BDO Paddar Sanjeev Sharma and TSO Paddar Balwant Singh Rana recently conducted a comprehensive market checking operation.
During this inspection, the officials engaged with local traders, emphasizing the importance of avoiding the improper disposal of waste material in drains and on roads.
Recognizing the need for effective waste management, BDO Paddar has been entrusted with the responsibility of establishing ordinary sanitary pits for the disposal of waste material. These designated pits will serve as a sustainable solution to prevent the accumulation of waste in inappropriate locations.
In addition, the team visited the local cricket stadium, where stagnant rainwater had gathered on the ground. Prompt action was taken, and the contractor was instructed to create a drainage hole and install PVC piping to facilitate proper water drainage.
Continuing their dedication to ensuring public welfare, surprise visits were conducted by SDM Paddar in various offices, including Sub Distt Hospital Atholi Paddar, Sheep Husbandry, CDPO, and ZEO Office Paddar. These surprise inspections aimed to monitor the overall functioning of these establishments, ensuring efficient service delivery to the residents of Paddar.
SDM Paddar Arun Kumar Badyal expressed his satisfaction with the efforts made by all officials involved, highlighting the importance of maintaining cleanliness and adhering to waste management guidelines.
He emphasized that a collective responsibility exists to preserve the natural beauty of the region and to promote a healthy and sustainable environment for all citizens.

SDM Paddar also warns traders to maintain hygiene & cleanliness and Strict action under the law will be initiated against those found littering.
