Good Governance week : Online delivery of eight revenue services launched in District Kishtwar
As a part of ongoing celebrations of “Good Governance Week” being held from December 20 to December 26, 2021, under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today launched the Online delivery of eight revenue services in district Kishtwar.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar informed that the initiative of online delivery of eight revenue services has been rolled out in the district on the direction of LG UT of Jammu nd Kashmir.
Under the initiative eight revenue services including issuance of income certificate, EWS Certificate, Marriage Certificate, OBC/RBA Certificate, SC/ST Certificate, Dependent Certificate, Legal Heir Certificate, and character certificate shall be provided online from now onwards.
He informed that people can log on to
https://serviceonline.gov.in/Jammu/
and obtain various certificates.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed revenue officers play a proactive role in implementing the basic indicator of Good Governance.
He said these initiatives will help the district administration to reach out to the people at their doorstep through online mode.
It will ease the hardships of the people who had to visit offices regularly to get these certificates. He said the applicants can now apply online without physically visiting the office.
