First of its Kind, Ladies Gym & Fitness Club inaugurated by DC and SSP Kishtwar

A first of it’s kind ladies Gym & Fitness Club was today inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner,DC Kishtwar Ashok Sharma in presence of Senior Superintendent of Police, SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Bhat and SHO Kishtwar Abid Bukhari here at Char Chinar, Kuleed Chowk kishtwar.
About 100 house wives,girls besides media persons also graced the occasion.
This highly fitted ladies Gym & Fitness Club named “KayaKalp” has been set up by Manisha Manu, an author and first female journalist of district Kishtwar under start up India scheme.
Manisha Manu established this facility owing to the high demand of ladies,house wives and the young girls who are noteably not comfortable to join the fitness centre designated for men.
DC and SSP Kishtwar congratulated and lauded Manisha’s novel initiative in field of women empowerment and self reliance.
Manisha Manu says that women in today’s society is not far behind the men in any sector so why not to avail the fitness avenues after all “Health is Wealth and Health saves wealth”.
Besides, the motive behind establishing such facilities is to channelize the energy of the aspiring young girls in right direction and sharpen their talent in sports and gymnasium avenues,she reveals.
The women folk of the area have appreciated the efforts of Manisha Manu for providing such facility.
