District Hub for Empowerment of Women under Mission Shakti, Social Welfare Department, Kishtwar celebrated “Veer Bal Diwas

On the directions of District Social Welfare Officer, Kishtwar Mr Zubair Ahmed, District Hub for Empowerment of Women under Mission Shakti, Kishtwar Celebrated Veer Bal Diwas at Al Hilal Educational Institute Kishtwar.
DHEW team highlighted to the participants the history of Baba zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, as well as why “Veer Bal Diwas” is commemorated in memory of martyrs Baba zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the two sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji, the tenth Sikh guru.
During the programme many activities were held like Poem Recitation, Singing, Drawing Competition, Essay Writing, Yoga where different students participated.
Especially the Telecast of Hon’ble PM’s message on
Veer Bal Diwas and Prize Distribution of Veer Bal Pratiyogita winners and other participated students remained main attraction.
Besides,the District Hub for Empowerment of Women organised multifarious activities including Drawing ,Painting,Essay Writing and Poetry Competition, Self Defense Training, Screening of AV on Veer Baal Diwas.
On the occasion team DHEW, CI staff OSC staff, Palash staff, Parisha staff, ICPS members, Teachers and students were present.DHEW expresses gratitude to all participants for active involvement in making this event a grand success.
