DC Kishtwar takes stock of Sinthan Festival preparations

Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav-IAS, led a team of officials on a visit to Sinthan Maidan to review the preparations for the upcoming Sinthan Festival, which is scheduled for April 29-30.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inquired about the current status of the arrangements and discussed strategies with different stakeholders to ensure the success of the festival.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the Sinthan Festival aims to provide the best experience to visitors. He reiterated the need for a coordinated effort to ensure that all preparations are in place well before the festival. The success of the festival would depend on the effective collaboration of all stakeholders involved, and he urged all concerned officers to work with dedication and enthusiasm to make the event a grand success.
He was apprised by GM NHIDCL that Sinthan pass will be opened by NHIDCL by tomorrow i.e. 27th April, which will encourage flow of tourists from Kashmir side.
The team included SDM Chatroo Dr. Mohsin Raza, Tehsildar Chatroo Suman Ji, BDO Tasleem Wani,GM NHIDCL G S Sangha, CEO Kishtwar Prehlad Bhagat,BMO Chatroo Dr Saima Ago and other officials of Police and Army.
