DC Kishtwar holds public grievance redressal camp at Tagood Panchayat of Block Mughalmaidan

To redress the grievances of people at their door step, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav IAS the day before accompanied by ACD Kishtwar Atul Dutt Sharma, BDO Mughal Maidan Saima Ramzan, CAO Kishtwar Amjad Hussain Malik besides other officers and field functionaries visited the Tagood panchayat of the block Mughalmaidan and presided over the public grievance redressal camp,there.
At the outset, the people and local PRIs welcomed the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar.
While, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar inaugurated the Passenger Shed at Ramleela Ground Tagood in presence of Officers and locals, constructed by Rural Development Department block Mughalmaidan. Kishtwar under CAPEX.
During the outreach camp, the People and the local PRIs of the area projected their demands and highlighted their grievances related to the upgradation of the local infrastructure including road connectivity ,Health and Education Sector besides also raising the issue of land compensation.
After patient hearing the majority of grievances of people were redressed on spot in consultation with concerned officers and also necessary directions were forwarded to the departments for prompt redressal of these grievances.
Responding to the demand of people for the upgradation of the High school Tagood into Higher Secondary, DC Kishtwar said that the demand will be taken up with concerned authorities to explore the possibility for the upgradation as per the guidelines.
On the issue of pending land compensation DC Kishtwar informed the land losers that documents have been submitted and compensation will be disbursed to genuine owners very soon.
Meanwhile, DC Kishtwar also informed that the bottleneck of the Tagood road has been evacuated and also AA already accorded and the work will be tendered out by April 2023.
On the occasion DC Kishtwar also dedicated 1KW solar Power backup to panchayat ghar Tagood and a Khidmat Center by District Agriculture Department for the panchayat.
He further informed that Electricity and Water supply at NTPHC Tagood will be taken up under District Capex 2023-24.
On the occasion, DC Kishtwar urged the panchayat members to identify a Youth at Panchayat level who will be provided the Community Leadership Executive course at IIM jammu under the rolled out Initiative of District Administration Kishtwar in collaboration with other stakeholders under Mission Youth Initiative for Youth Club Members across District Kishtwar.
He said that the training programme will make the youth acquire necessary skills for the effective implementation and monitoring of the community level developmental schemes on ground level.
Later, DC Kishtwar along with other officers also inspected the ongoing building of High School Tagood and gave necessary directions to the concerned executing agencies for expediting the pace of work to ensure the completion of the building in stipulated time without compromising the quality.
