DC Kishtwar Distributes Track Suits to Palaash Children

In a benevolent gesture, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav IAS, visited the Palaash Centre, a children’s home in Kishtwar and spearheaded the distribution of track suits to 34 Palaash Children.
DSWO Kishtwar Zubair Ahmed Lone,DMO Kishtwar Dr Brijesh Manhas and TSWO Kishtwar Rajesh Sharma besides officials of Palaash Children Home were also present on the occasion.
It’s pertinent to mention that the District Administration Kishtwar, under the “Meri Matti Mera Desh” campaign on August 13, 2023 organized a successful fund raising concert for orphans , here at GDC Kishtwar out of which these track suit were procured.
During the distribution event, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar also engaged with the child inmates, inquiring about the facilities provided to them in the child home. The children expressed satisfaction with the amenities and were encouraged by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar to utilize the track suits for sports and physical health exercises. He further encouraged the Palaash children to prioritize health and fitness by actively participating in extracurricular activities in school alongside their studies.
In line with fostering educational development, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar directed DSWO Kishtwar to ensure the establishment of a well-equipped book library for the children at Palaash, utilizing resources available in his office.
Before the distribution ceremony, DC Kishtwar along with DSWO Kishtwar and TSWO Kishtwar conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Palaash Home’s infrastructure. He issued necessary directives to expedite ongoing works and ensure the aesthetic enhancement of the Palaash Home.
The event underscores the commitment of the District Administration Kishtwar to contribute positively to the well-being and development of the region’s young residents.
