DC Kishtwar discusses and finalise Local Area Development Plan under R&R plan of Kiru HEP at Nagseni

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav IAS on Tuesday visited Hydroelectric Power Project Kiru,Nagseni and chaired a meeting with the local PRIs ,project authorities and Officers of line Departments to discuss and finalise the Local Area Development Plan under Rehabilitation and Resettlement Plan of Kiru Hydroelectric Power Project.
Chairman,BDC Nagseni Mohd Ashraf Choudhary,DDC member Nagseni Faisal Ahmed;CEO Kishtwar Development Authority,Inderjeet Singh Parihar,HOP Kiru HEP Rajinder Prasad, ACD Kishtwar Atul Dutt Sharma,Tehsildar Nagseni Majid Jehangir, DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma,CAO Amjed Hussain Malik, BDO Nagseni Anjil Singh,besides other representatives of various departments including PWD,RDD, Revenues, PHE remained present in the meeting.
The meeting was apprised about the component wise funds available under the RR plan for the upgradation of Educational facilities and Skill Development, infrastructure development and public utilities besides Social welfare schemes for the project affected families (PAFs) of Kiru HEP.
During the meeting, Panchayat wise requirements were discussed and approved to be incorparated under the Local Area Development Plan in judicious manner as per the suggestions and recommendation of PRI and locals.
The concerned departments were directed to prepare DPRs of these projects under R&R plan so that the works are implemented and executed in time bound manner.
Meanwhile in the meeting, the PRI highlighted various demands pertaining to the upgradation of the infrastructure in schools,health,public facility sectors.
The major demands highlighted by PRIs included the electrification of left out habitations of Chicha Nagseni and adjoining areas of Sazar Paddar, Panchayat Hall at Piyas,completion of PMGSY Roads undertaken in phase IV and NHPC Bridge,renovation and functioning of Irrigation Canal at Chicha and Galhar,renovation of Panchayat Ghar at Galhar,repair of Inspection-Hat at Galhar,fencing and additional Classrooms at HS Galhar and MS Chingnana,expediting the repair work at GPS Bunyal and GHSS Ohli,sanction of new panchayat Ghar at Piyas,upgradation of building at PHC Kiru,fencing wall at HS Patherneki, Tehsil Comlex office at Nagseni etc.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar after patient listening assured them that their genuine demands will be fulfilled in time bound manner.
On the issue of construction of tehsil complex for Nagseni, DC Kishtwar passes necessary directions to the concerned tehsildar to identify the land and prepare DPR to be submitted to higher ups.
Besides a number of directions were also passed to concerned departments for redressing the grievances and issues raised by local PRIs in the meeting.
