DC Kishtwar conducted tour of Bounjwah and listens to the grievances/ issues of people

District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS) today conducted a tour of panchayat Tippri of Block Bounjwah district Kishtwar and listened to the Grievances/issues of the public of the said Panchayat.
DDC camped at Panchayat Tippri, listened the issues put by PRIs besides other villagers regarding the upgradation of local infrastructure including road connectivity, electricity in the left out villages, additional Winter Tution centres for children in some far flung schools, upgradation of High school Tippri to Higher secondary school, Job Card demand in MGNREGA, availability of doctors in their respective PHCs etc.
DDC listened to all grievances patiently and resolved most of it with the consultation of concerned officers which were accompanied during the tour.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Kishtwar said that Dunnadi Bounjwah road and TKN Mori road will be expedited and major work will be completed by March, 2023. Besides additional teachers will be deployed for winter tuition Classes at Govt high school Tippri,he assured.
Responding to the issue raised by PRIs, DDC Kishtwar assured that 25 KV transformer for Haryana village will be installed by Executive Engineer JPDCL by the end of January.
He further added that necessary directions have been forwarded to BMO and he will ensure the improvement in medical services in the area.
With an aim to ensure road connectivity to left out habitations in the block Bounjwah, DDC said that Ex En PMGSY will pursue roads under PMGSY- phase 4 for connecting various habitations of the area.
On the occasion, DDC directed all the concerned officers to complete all pending works in a time bound period and in the most synergic way so that public work will not suffer any more in the near future and the public will be benefited in time.
Various individual grievances were also received by DDC Kishtwar on the occasion.
He also urged people and PRIs to participate in the ongoing Panchayat Electoral Roll Revision-2023 so that the registration of new and left out electors is done effectively. He informed that 01-01-2023 is the qualifying date to be the new electoral.
Earlier, Officers and field functionaries of various departments also spoke about their departmental schemes including online services, Mission Youth Schemes etc. and urged people to come forward and avail these schemes.
Besides Age Certificate Camp was also conducted by the Social Welfare Department and certificates were issued among the Pensioners of Social Welfare Department.
En route, DDC also listened to the number of grievances put by the villagers which include road connectivity, water and power supply, upgradation of health and education facilities in the area which were resolved successfully in collaboration with concerned officers.
The District and sectoral officers who attended the tour programme were District Panchayat Officer Sunil Bhutyal, DSWO Zubair Ahmed, Executive Engineer JPDCL,BDO Drabshalla Tariq Sayeed Suharwardy,Tehsildar Drabshalla Irshad Ahmed,BMO Dr Sat Lal Manhas,ZEO Drabshalla Suresh Kumar, besides Officer/Officials from PMGSY, Jal Shakti, Health and Education department.
