To make the process of land acquisition hassle free , a special camp was today held at BDO office Drabshalla in which a team of revenue officers led by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Kumar Sharma supervised the whole exercise of the verification of documents of the eligible beneficiaries whose land have been acquired for the widening of NH-244 package 3.
On the occasion, GM NHIDCL Parveen Ahlawat ,Tehsildar Drabshalla Arun Sharma,BDO Drabshalla Sobia Shad,revenue field functionaries besides land owners remained present.
To make whole exercise transparent ,all the details viz. name of the land owner,quantum of land acquired,amount of compensation assessed were publicly announced.
Besides, the acquisition documents of the land owner/beneficiaries were also verified by the concerned officers.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner kishtwar highlighted the importance of conducting such special camp as it promotes transparency and reduces the unnecessary delay in land acquisition process which is imperative for good and transparent governance.
