ADDC Kishtwar reviews the progress in the implementation of Good Governance index, ABD Programme and SAMPAN project in the District
Kishtwar, August 4th.
With an aim to review the progress in the implementation of developmental programmes under Good Governance index, Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) and SAMPAN project in the District, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal today convened a meeting of concerned officers here in his office Chamber.
The meeting was attended by JD-Planning Mohd Iqbal,SDM Marwah Dr Mohsin Raza,DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal, DSEO Kishtwar Akhil Thakur,DSWO Zubair Ahmed,AD Employment Kishtwar Amit Kumar, CAHO, Dr Sanjay Kumar Sen besides representatives of concerned departments.
During the meeting, the ADDC took sector wise review of various schemes and programmes being carried out in Marwah and Warwan Blocks which have been chosen in Aspirational Block Developmental programme to ensure the expeditious improvement in socio-economic upliftment of these areas.
Besides performance of various developmental indicators of District Good Governance Index was also reviewed in the meeting.
The officers were instructed to work in tune with prescribed guideline to achieve the set benchmarks under ABDP, GGI particularly focus on poverty alleviation, promotion of education (re-enrollment of dropout students) basic infrastructure, agriculture,health and nutrition needs in these blocks.
In the meeting, ADDC Kishtwar stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure 100 percent saturation of beneficiaries under various individual oriented beneficiary schemes and other social security schemes.
Showing dis-satisfaction on low performance under GGI, the ADDC stressed upon all the departments to make all possible efforts to achieve the desired results in their respective paramaters assigned.
ADDC directed heads of agriculture and allied Departments to ensure 100 percent saturation of farmers under Kissan Credit Card scheme to redouble their income.
Furthermore, ADDC Kishtwar directed CAO , CAHO, DSHO to gear up the agriculture and allied sector activities rolled out under the umbrella schemes “SAMPAN” in the convergence mode so that the Beneficiary schemes are percolated down the grass root level in effective manner.
Besides, directions were given to concerned Departments to ensure the release of Ist installment of sanctioned cases under PMAY (G) and PMAY(R).
Meanwhile, LDM Kishtwar was impressed to ensure the coverage of all eligible beneficiaries under Atal Pension Yojana besides cover all the employees under PM Saral Bima Yojana and PM-Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana.
AD, District Employment & Carrier Counseling Kishtwar was asked to speed up the process of approval of cases under Mumkin Scheme and ensure timely disbursements in favour of applicants so that the Employment generation indicator is improved in the District.
In the meeting,SDM Marwah was directed to monitor the developmental activities in two blocks under ABDP besides to conduct monthly and quarterly meeting to review the progress and push up the prescribed activities so that set benchmarks are achieved.
