ADDC Kishtwar presides over the Weekly Block Diwas programme at GHSS Trigam
Kishtwar,15-02-2023.
With an aim to redress the grievances of people at their door step,the weekly Block Diwas programme was organised today for the people of block Trigam of district Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sh. Sham Lal -JKAS.
The public grievance redressal camp was venued at Govt Higher Secondary School Trigam under the management of Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj in collaboration with other departments and School authorities wherein scores of people from adjoining panchayats took part and highlighted their grievances with regard to the upgradation of local infrastructure and streamlining of public services.
BDC chairman Trigam Sri Chand ,DDC member Trigam Om Prakash, ACD Kishtwar Atul Dutt sharma, CAHO Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen,CAO Amjad Hussain Malik,Nodal officer AYUSH Dr Vikram Singh,EXEN PMGSY Mohinder Kumar Sen,BDO Trigam Firdous Kamal, AEE PWD Sanjay Rathore, Sarpanches,panches besides field functionaries of concerned departments attended the programme.
During the programme, various grievances and issues raised by people were answered by Officers of concerned departments under the overall supervision of ADDC Kishtwar.
ADDC stressed all the departmental heads to ensure that the genuine public grievances are redressed in a time bound manner.
While speaking on the occasion, ADDC assured that administration will try to redress the grievances of people as per the given guidelines.
Responding to the issue raised by PRIs, he said that water crisis in trio panchayats of Trigam A, Trigam B & Trigam C will be resolved soon as the ongoing Water Supply Schemes under Jal Jeevan Mission will be completed in given time line i,e. June 2023 and adequate tap water will be supplied to each household.
He directed Jal Shakti authorities to provide water tanker facility for area suffering scarcity of water as an interim relief measure till the project is completed under JJM.
Regarding the health facility centre in the area he said that the issue will be taken up to higher ups in collaboration with the AYUSH Department for strengthening the primary health care facilities in the area.
Meanwhile necessary directions were forwarded to ACD Kishtwar for redressing the IAY issues immediately.
ExEn PMGSY was directed to expedite the work on ongoing roads besides explore the possibility to cover unconnected habitations with more than 250 households in the next phase of PMGSY.
He also stressed about exploring the possibility of road connectivity under the NABARD scheme in the area.
He said that he will take up the issue of shortage of staff and Boundary wall at GHSS Trigam with CEO Kishtwar. He urged local PRIs to take up the boundary wall work under the PRI plan.
On the demand of people, ADDC Kishtwar directed Revenue and Agriculture Officers to conduct joint mutation camps in the area so that people at large are benefited at their door step.
Various other issues were also redressed by ADDC Kishtwar on the occasion.
Concerned departments were directed to conduct panchayats level agriculture and allied sector camps in the area so that the awareness regarding Farmer’s beneficiary schemes can be imparted to the farmers and their benefits are extended on the ground level.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC also imparted awareness regarding various welfare schemes and the online services including Janbhagidari app, Apki zamin Apki Nigrani portal wherein people can access to the real time information of the developmental works and services in a transparent and accountable manner.
Speaking on the occasion ADDC Kishtwar appealed to people to ensure the cleanliness of their Panchayats as envisaged under SBM which is a prerequisite for holistic development of panchayats at grass root level.
Among others, CAHO Kishtwar, CAO Kishtwar and Nodal officer Ayush also spoke on the occasion. They imparted awareness about Maitri schemes of animal husbandry, Holistic development programmes of agriculture and Ayush products and appealed to people and PRIs to avail the benefit from these schemes.
Various stalls displaying the schemes of various departments and the ayush medicines were also set up on the occasion for the awareness of common masses during the programme.
