District Administration Kishtwar dispatches first batch of Highland migratory Tribal families

District Administration Kishtwar, headed by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav-IAS on Thursday dispatched first batch of Highland migratory Tribal families to their to home destinations amid elaborate arrangements.
Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sham Lal (JKAS) flagged off the first fleet of vehicles comprising 5 trucks and 1 passenger/LGV vehicles here from warda,Hasti Morh Kishtwar towards Udhampur, carrying 273 livestock Including bovine animals and goats besides Highland Migratory tribal families.
DYSP Ashish Gupta,DSHO kishtwar, ARTO kishtwar, ARTO Kishtwar Romesh SmotraManager RTC kishtwar , XEN mechanical Division kishtwar besides other officials remained present on the occasion.
A joint team of veterinarians from Animal & Sheep Husbandry department, transport department and other agencies have been constituted to ensure the encumberance free movement of these families along with their live stocks.
Pertinent to mention that transportation facility, free of cost, is being provided these migratory families from 25 September to 25 October 2022.
Traffic police teams have been deployed to coordinate pick-up and movement of trucks and LCMVs deployed for migratory tribal families, besides help-desks, veterinary healthcare and other arrangements have been ensured for inconvenience free Movement of these families,informed ADDC Kishtwar.
