Folk dance competition organized by YSS Kishtwar, before 25th National Youth Festival which will be celebrated at Punndicherry in the month of Jan-2022.

Folk dance competition organized by the Sports department at BVM Kishtwar. Students from different zones participated in the competition. A talented folk dance group from zone Padder under the supervision of I/c ZPEO Ram Loki, selected by the judges Mad Avani, in charge of a cultural officer, Mr Sanjeet Sharma(renowned musician), Mad. Bharti(PEM)and Mr Susheel Kumar (PET).

Speaking on the occasion, DYSSO kishtwar Sh.kharati Lal Sharma, the chief guest of the occasion congratulated the winning team & said that said team will now participate in inter District UT level competition to be held at Jammu.

The team if Qualify the UT level competition will then represent the J&K UT in the 25th National Youth festival -2022 which is scheduled to be held at Puducherry w.e.f January 12th, 2022 to  16th Jan.2022. Adding more he said that, to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the National Youth Festival will be organized across the State with an annual gathering of youth with various activities and with the aim to propagate the concept of national integration, communal harmony, brotherhood &  encouraging the youth to take part in activities. DYSSO Kishtwar thanks the judges & Principal BVM Sh. Ram Sewak Ji for their cooperation.

At last Javed Iqbal Sheik, the anchor of the event thanks to all participants and sports fraternity present at the occasion.
