DC Kishtwar presides over the orientation Programme on the operationalisation of e-Office in the District

DC Kishtwar presides over the orientation Programme on the operationalisation of e-Office in the District

Kishtwar, 5th August.

An orientation Programme to sensitise the departments on operationalisation of e-Office in the District was today conducted by National Informatics Centre,District Centre, Kishtwar for the technical assistants of various departments, here.



The orientation Programme was presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Ashok Sharma.

Among other, ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal,JD-planning Mohd Iqbal,ACR Kishtwar Varunjeet Singh Charak,DSEO Akhil Sen, DIO NIC Pankaj Kumar besides technical assistants and dealing assistants of different departments remained present in the programme.



During the programme, DIO NIC Kishtwar gave a detailed insight about the operation of e-Office in different departments through onspot demonstration.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Kishtwar gave a special thrust on making the offices paperless by switching over to e-Offices.



DC directed the concerned officers to submit the requisitions for IT infrastructure required to implement operations of e-Offices.

He said the government is switching over to e-office mode of working and no physical files will be entertained after the offices are completely switched over to e-Office mode.



Meanwhile the officials/technical assistants apprised Deputy Commissioner about the bottlenecks that hinder the progress of making offices paperless.

He urged the Heads of various departments to seek necessary assistance from NIC,District Centre Kishtwar so that offices turn paperless at earliest.



He said no laxity will be accepted in operations of e-Offices and warned of strict action against delay in operations.
