District Administration Kishtwar Celebrates Civil Services Day at DC Office Complex

The District Administration Kishtwar today organized a simple function at VC Hall of the DC office complex to commemorate Civil Services Day.

This day is dedicated to reflecting on the contributions of civil servants and planning for the coming years for their departments.

The chosen date for this celebration, 21st April, is in honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Home Minister of independent India, who addressed probationary officers at the All India Administrative Services training at Metcalfe Delhi on this day in 1947.

The event was attended by various civil service officers from District Kishtwar, including the ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal, ADC Kishtwar Inderjeet Parihar, ACR Varunjeet Singh Charak, DPO Sunil Bhutyal, Tehsildar HQ Chander Shekhar Sharma, Accounts Officer DC Office Imran Ahmed Kichloo, CAHO Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen and CMO Kishtwar M Y Mir, along with other officials from various line departments.

The civil servants shared their experiences, achievements, and commitment to serving the citizens and the nation. The function also included a live streaming of the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s address on Civil Services Day.
