Introduction

Drabshalla Block is one of the thirteen Community Development (CD) Blocks of District Kishtwar in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated approximately 17 km south of Kishtwar town, it is headquartered at Drabshalla town (PIN 182204) and forms an integral part of the picturesque Chenab Valley. Drabshalla Block is situated in the south-western region of District Kishtwar. It is bounded by Thathri Block to the south, Kishtwar Block to the north, Gundana Block to the west and Bhalessa (Gandoh) Block to the south-east. The block lies approximately 159 km from the state capital Srinagar.
