DDC kishtwar conducts interactive meet with local PRI during the weekly block Divas programme at Block Thakrie
Listens to the grievances of people/local PRIs; redressed grievances on the spot.

Weekly block Diwas proceedings were today held at block Thakarie where District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma listened to the issues of the public in presence of BDC Chairperson, Kishori Lal Shan;DDC member Thakrie Sharifa Begum, Assistant Commissioner Development, Atul Dutt Sharma.
Besides BDO Thakrie Sonika Parihar and other concerned Officer, Sarpanchs, Panchs and a large number of locals also participated in the programme.
The BDC Chairperson, PRI members and locals projected varied demands/issue related to upgradation of local Infrastructure in the area.
Various grievances were redressed on spot whereas the DDC Kishtwar assured them that rest of grievances will be taken up with the concerned officers/Authorities for timely resolution.
Meanwhile DDC Kishtwar also conducted an interactive meet with the local PRIs and reviewed the functioning of three tier system of Panchayat Raj Institutions in the area.
PRIs apprised him of many genuine issues and appealed for soft interventions.
DDC Kishtwar assured for all necessary help from District administration.
Speaking on the occasion DDC Kishtwar Stressed all the PRIs to be torch bearer for youth to channelise their energy to realise the dream of govt to mobilise the youths towards self Employement schemes.
He stressed for the effective implementation of One District One Product scheme in the district which can bring fruit full results in Employement generation of the youths by utilising the resources and potential of agriculture and allied sectors.
Besides he urged the PRIs to strengthen the women SHG to ensure empowerment of the women section of society is achieved on the lines of other Districts.
Stressing on the strengthening of panchayti raj institutions on the grass root level, he asked the PRIs to adopt the revenue generation measures in each Panchayats to make each panchayat financially sound.
Besides DDC kishtwar also exhorted upon the PRI and rural development functionaries to work in tandem to ensure that the Panchayat level works taken up by different executing agencies are started and completed well on-time.
He urged the PRIs to monitor the pace and quality of the works to ensure transparency at grass root level.
Referring to the effective implementation of ambitious jal jeevan mission in the block he solicited the PRIs to chalk out a comprehensive Action plan so that left out habitation is saturated with tap water upto Aug 2022.
